David is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and started Five Star Fitness in 1997. He has worked with clients from as young as 11 through all age ranges to over 90.
His aim is always to increase your fitness and whether that’s helping you return to exercise after injury/illness, reduce stiffness and increase freedom of movement, lose weight or improve your sports performance, the goal is always to maximise results. He uses his skills to adapt your training in every session to not just offer variety but also react to your current energy and fitness levels.
Further education is a very important part of David’s approach and he continues to add new qualifications and study the latest research to ensure that you are receiving the most up to date advice and training techniques to help achieve your goals.
Caroline qualified as a Classical Pilates Instructor in 2012 and teaches all our small group Pilates classes as well as one to one sessions. She continues to study all aspects of Pilates to ensure her clients are always challenged and improving.
As well as Pilates she is a qualified Power Plate and TRX Suspension Training Instructor. Caroline has been an exercise enthusiast for many years with a particular interest in Weight Training before becoming part of Five Star Fitness. Her enthusiasm and understanding of many exercise formats will help you achieve great results.
Chris’s journey to becoming a fully qualified Personal Trainer has been an interesting and inspiring one. Initially coming to David as a client in order to lose weight and improve his fitness for football he very quickly transformed his shape and increased his agility, speed and strength.
His enthusiasm for many different types of exercise took over and the decision to change career and become a Personal Trainer was made.
Now Chris is ready to share that enthusiasm with you and knowing personally what can be achieved through good nutrition and exercise will help him to make sure your fitness journey is successful.
