The Pilates method of exercise is now a household name and still as popular and effective today as it was when first introduced by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century.

Benefits of Pilates include:

  • Stronger, Flatter Abdominal area
  • Increased Core Strength helping to relieve or reduce Lower Back Pain
  • Improved Posture to look Taller and Slimmer
  • Improved Balance
  • Increased Flexibility
  • Greater overall Strength
  • Improved Coordination

We offer Pilates low impact mat work based on the original method and philosophy of Joseph Pilates, in small group classes shown on the timetable and as private sessions by appointment, all taught by Caroline Sinclair.

What we Offer

classes are Taught live, either local, in-person on Saturday or via zoom for all the others.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 people on Zoom to ensure you have far more individual attention than most other Pilates Classes can provide.

Saturday Class is now in-person at Thornliebank Parish Church Hall with maximum of 10 people. Contact us for more details

Tandem Sessions are available by appointment and with just two people in each session you will have even more individual attention.

One to One Sessions, the ultimate in personal attention and by appointment only. In these sessions it’s just you and Caroline exercising at the exact pace and difficulty level to match your fitness. Available locally in person or worldwide online.

Choose a class from the timetable, pay for a 6 class Pass in advance and that space is reserved for you every week for as long as you want to do Pilates. We let you know each time your Class Pass is due to be renewed and continually reserve your space so you never have to re-book. Your Zoom link will be emailed to you before the class starts.

Please Note: Each 6 Class Pass is based on the same class at the same time each week but is valid for 2 calendar months from the date of purchase to allow for occasions when it’s simply impossible for you to attend. Any classes not used by the end date are non-refundable and to continue in that class you are required to purchase a new 6 Class Pass.

If you are completely new to Pilates or coming on the recommendation of a practitioner (such as a physiotherapist or doctor) it is highly recommended that you attend a One to One session first to ensure safe practice.

Class spaces reserved by phone or email will be held for 3 days but if payment has not arrived in this period the space will be made available to others again.
